Caring and Sharing Annual Food Drive (November 16-20) Barnwell’s Caring and Sharing program will be holding our school-wide food drive from November 16- 20, 2009. This program provides food for the needy families in the Barnwell community during the Thanksgiving season. We will be sending home a food list on Tuesday, November 11, so look for it in your child’s book bag. A copy of the food list will also be posted on the Barnwell website. During the week of November 16th, students will bring in food items from their grade level list. This is only a suggestion…we divided it in order to get a wide variety of food items. The giving of food items is not limited to one item, so feel free to send in as much as you feel you can give to make another family’s holiday meal bountiful. Collections will be taken each morning at the car rider and bus entrances by our PTA volunteers and the Barnwell Student Council. We thank you in advance for helping with this worthy cause and are looking forward to another successful food drive at Barnwell.
